Thread of pictures scammers are using, even ones that say “drop your cashapp” or “i wanna help you”:
They act like they’re giving money to people in need, but they’ll ask for your phone number along with your cashapp name
They’ll have you transfer your funds to cashapp, or ask for your cashapp balance, then request that amount to “confirm” it’s there
But guess who won’t get any money back? You! And then you’ll get blocked. “Look, I have 4,000 in my account ready to send to you! Just confirm my request”
Y’all please don’t get scammed! Especially on Juneteenth! People tryna send you money do NOT need to know your balance, your phone number, nor do they need to request any of your funds.
Literally had a scammer get me to transfer my money from savings and my checking into my cashapp cause they were gonna “multiply it”... we’re still in a pandemic & im sure none of us can afford to go broke
I have receipts if y’all wanna see them
Here y’all go. Needed this girl’s phone number when she already had her cashapp name, needed her to confirm the request of her funds to be sent money? And if you question it, they attack
I don’t know these people but I know those pictures are fake. There’s no way there are good intentions behind this. Don’t fall for it!
how horrible you gotta be to take money from people’s hard earned savings on Juneteenth
