... and the consequence of varying standards of critical reasoning and debate is that we confuse, at times, disagreement with being disrespected. The opposite problem is also undesirable- being too differential to someone you like or respect uncritically...
As for talk radio, I am enormously grateful to always have had station managers, up until today, who rightly hired me to be authentic rather than to game. That is not true at all media companies, so I want to thank every station manager who has hired me as a talk radio host...
