Focus on developing a trustable and clean brand.

The first thing you should aim for is to have:

1. High-quality profile pic
2. Well designed Cover
3. Well written biography

A well-written biography will tell the world what you're all about.

And it will also tell them in which ways you can help THEM.

2. Provide value

Here's what doesn't work:

1. Quotes after quotes
2. Platitudes over platitudes
3. Just acknowledging others (it has its place tho)

You need to provide real actionable advice that WILL make others' lives better.

1. Educate people
2. Entertain
3. Inspire

3. Tweet frequency & format

Post at least 5-10 tweets a day.

Schedule them over-night for maximum exposure.

You can use free tools like tweetdeck

Or paid ones like:

2. @GetZlappo

Use the right spacing and the right punctuation.

No one like extended paragraphs

Make sure your English is on-point.

I sometimes struggle with that since I'm not a native.

I use @grammarly as a browser extension to help me out with that.

4. Retweet your best tweets

The Twitter algorithm will not show your new tweets to everyone

And not everyone will be scrolling at the exact time that you post.

Retweet your best PERFORMING Tweets of the day.

Retweet after:

- 2h
- 6h
- 24h

5. Join the bandwagon

Jumping on the hype-train can be beneficial.

There are certain tweet types that turn into MEMES within the community and using them might boost your engagement.

This is not a long-term solution, but it can give you a nice boost while it lasts.

6. Don't re-invent the wheel

Just see what top-performing accounts are doing and MODEL them.

You DON'T want to copy!

But you can draw inspiration and ideas from the best performing tweets of the top accounts in your niche.

7. Show-up everyday

Consistency is the name of the game.

When you stop tweeting for a day or two your engagement will SINK.

We don't want that.

Even if you can't be online for some days.

Make sure you leave at least 5 tweets/day scheduled.

8. Have a personality

Don't just be another cloud in the sky.

BE THE FK*NG SUN!

There are too many people doing the exact same thing, and while that might work and bring results.

It will not bring long-term, SUSTAINABLE results.

9. Create a trustworthy brand

Always over-deliver.

Retweet and post quality content.

Offer free & pad high-value content.

Keep on with your promises and don't lie.

Have a:

1. Vision
2. Story
3. Mission

Allow people to resonate with your personal truth.

10. Cut mindless engagement

The point of having a Twitter account is not to be sitting in front of a computer.

Especially not just saying the same thing over and over.

Create your own content, improve yourself, stop wasting time.

Engage only to add value or to have fun.
