Sunday is the last day to get the next issue of @NintendoForce at the low pre-release price point (about $5 in most places for physical). You may think that we didn& #39;t have as much to report on without E3, but boy oh boy was that not a problem (thread). https://www.patreon.com/NintendoForce ">https://www.patreon.com/NintendoF...
The issues is themed around the new Paper Mario title coming to Switch in July. That opened to door for us to talk about so many different games with eclectic ensemble casts and evolved, genre-blending mechanics. And of course, vocal fan bases! We talk about them a lot too.
Speaking of genre-blending, this issue allowed us to write about @linzb0t, @adamctierney @DinnerSonic and @JamesPopStar Cat Girl Without Salad, and it& #39;s such a sight to see. This may be the only place you can get this art in print?
This issues is also the first place I know of to get a full review of Panzer Paladin from @TributeGames. It& #39;s hard to get something in print before it gets to the internet, but this time we may have pulled it off?
There& #39;s also a debate section where we discuss fan reaction to the past few Paper Mario games. I also took it as an opportunity to imagine Paper Mario befriending a rap-metal Bob-omb named Fred Burst. Sorry, and thank you.
Not only did I write for this issue, but I also made art for it. There& #39;s the tearjerking 3rd installment of my ongoing hand-drawn "Raising the Rainbow Pikmin comic", and also a little sprite I made of @platinumgames& #39;s @PG_kamiiya for our TW101 review, all exclusive to NF.
There& #39;s also a huge retrospective on the Paper Mario series, a look at Nintendo& #39;s Japan-only sweater-making Mario game for the Famicom, an exclusive interview with @oniongames& #39;s Yoshiro Kimura, and a review of @MotherForever_& #39;s door-busting Mother Direct!
And at the last minute we were able to add pages about New Pokemon Snap and Nintendo& #39;s new, free jump rope game, available for only a limited time. And that& #39;s just scratching the surface! There& #39;s like 80 more pages in here that I haven& #39;t even told you about yet!
And to top it all off this issue comes with a Origami Peach to cut our and fold AND a double-sided Paper Mario poster, Origami King art on one side and Thousand-Year Door art on the other. Where else are you going to get a Thousand -ear Door poster in 2020?! Nowhere, that& #39;s where
