the members are divided based on their outfits for checkmate

(mix of both colors) sunwoo, sangyeon

sunwoo and sangyeon speculated to have special role

based from the painting "the last supper" seen in 'reveal catching fire' stage, sunwoo represented judas (a betrayer) & juyeon represented jesus

reason juyeon got speculated to be jesus is because of the part in 'sword of victory' where he hold a sword and the other members between him being the litter

the one trying to steal the crown in 'danger' was actually sunwoo

sunwoo managed to own the crown temporarily as shown in 'checkmate' where he was on the litter, holding the chess kings (the other members, both and ), and controling the chess board

the ones who stole the crown from q was under sunwoo's order, unfortunately no one knew it was from him so it caused rivalry between the members

jacob vs haknyeon

the rivalry continued to 'checkmate', the juyeon vs hyunjae fight was a fight between the kings as they fought inside the cube thing

juyeon vs hyunjae

sangyeon was the one who created the cube (him being mix of indicated he was a moderator)

+ new and kevin putting both kings inside the cube

juyeon won the fight so the members followed him *the black chess king shown at the end of 'checkmate' stage

sunwoo knew juyeon found out it was all behind his own control

but juyeon still let sunwoo got in to the 도원경 (paradise), as seen in the 'shangri-la' stage ending

sunwoo hit the door because he was afraid juyeon wouldn't let him to go to paradise, but he felt guilty later on after juyeon let sunwoo to

(as it was depicted from "the last supper" painting that jesus knew about the betrayal but he didn't speak up about it)

with guiltiness overwhelming himself, sunwoo then left paradise and committed suicide, as seen in the start of 'checkmate' stage and red lighted screen represented the blood

*referred to judas' graveyard which was called "field of blood" because it was bought with blood money
