The great actor, Ian Holm has just passed away at the age of 88.

I'm saddened to hear of this, but I'm happy that he lived doing what he loved and I salute him. Rest in peace good sir, and as Bilbo Baggins, I hope you enjoy the Grey Havens.

Golly he was a master actor. A huge inspiration and influence to many others, including myself.

I will always remember him as the lovable Bilbo Baggins, and Zerah from Jesus of Narareth.
