I& #39;ve gone through this #ChristianTwitter thread and here are my thoughts.

The Bible says in Heb. 12:14, "Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord."
Saying that efforts to foster world peace are antichristian just because other religions are involved is not right. /1

As long as my faith is not compromised, it is responsible Christian living to respect the beliefs of others. I believe that Jesus is the only way to God, and I respect the beliefs of my neighbour who practices another religion, even though our beliefs may not be the same. /2
We are all human and that is one common ground that unites us. One aspect of our Christianity is that it should overflow to our community such that there is justice and good leadership. That, IMO, is what @Pontifex and @PastorEAAdeboye are trying to achieve. /3
Granted, we are free to have reservations. I am neither Catholic nor a member of RCCG, and I& #39;ve heard a lot of stories about one world religion, etc. However, the evidence I& #39;ve seen is not enough to reach that conclusion about @PastorEAAdeboye. /4
Most of your evidence is from one source and I have my reservations. For starters, you can& #39;t fault a video of a Christian minister meeting with people from diverse faiths to create opportunities for peaceful coexistence when He does not directly say that Jesus is not Lord. /5
You can& #39;t jump to a conclusion based on a single video or source. You need a wealth of evidence to corroborate your claim. Then, about the video itself, there are cutscenes with people who probably were not at the said event; even those who were there , we don& #39;t know... /6
... what they said and we cannot judge the extent of their involvement on that basis.
That video seems intentionally edited in that light and that may be misleading. Let us see the entire video regardless of length and then we can begin to make deductions. /7

About the rod of the late RCCG founder and Adeboye& #39;s predecessor, it is a "magic wand" to you probably because that is an already established idea in your mind. There is a backstory to it and I remember it being all over the news the night of the event. Read about it. /8
Your source uses Heb. 12:2, and while he makes a point I can reason with, he does not explore other scriptures like Acts 19:11-12; Acts 5:15 or 2 Kings 13:20-21.
What @PastorEAAdeboye did that night was prophetic, and I don& #39;t think he uses that rod to routinely lead prayers. /9

One reason I keep stressing that you can& #39;t conclude from one source is that we are all fallible. Your source, for one, has made questionable deductions and inferences in the past. Then in this video he uses editing and emotive speaking to compensate for his shallow premises. /10
That said, one thing I always ask myself when I see a post like this thread is, "what is its purpose?" I like to think that you& #39;re trying to identify a problem, a fraud maybe, but that is a grave accusation and you must work harder and come with more facts to do that. /11
For someone who has contributed so much to building the body of Christ in Nigeria, you can& #39;t call them a fraud or heretic with just one or two questionable videos.
Also, assuming he is a heretic, what do you propose we do? What is your solution, /12

considering that @PastorEAAdeboye and @Pontifex are influential people in the body of Christ?
What then is your message to us believers, especially those whose faith may be troubled by these allegations especially when put in this manner? /13

Are you out to strengthen the body of Christ with encouraging words from the Bible, or do you want to (intentionally or not) ride on emotions and fears, cause divisions and dissent and weaken the body of Christ? Either option has a method and accompanying components. /14
Eventually, it is up to every individual to judge and decide.
May God strengthen His Body.
