So the wealth gap convo is all over my timeline, very important conversation.
Obviously earning less is the beginning, but what do we do with money when we have it?
Budgeting is key, & personally I learned to stay on top of a budget way later in life I would’ve liked, but it’s been tremoundously powerful.
Monthly budgeting is important, but what about financial projections? Managing your NOW money is cool, but visualing your FUTURE money if you stick to predictable spending patterns is even better.
I use an app / web service called @moneydashboard a very simple to use app that lets you connect ALL your bank accounts & credit cards. Plots out your + & - balances, and if you input your expected incomings & outgoings plots a nice graph for you. http://www.moneydashboard.com
Combine this as a projection tool with smart banking apps like @monzo + @StarlingBank, & you begin to take real control of your money in a very easy way.
