For those who still follow me from when this account was the BWR, I want to stress my support for the current speak out movement.
It's incredibly important for this to come out and for changes to be made, as if it wasn't clear before it's more than clear now that there's a huge systemic problem in the industry, particularly in the UK scene.
These things are things you'd always hear about in rumours and whispers even as just a fan on the fringes, but seeing the sheer depth and breadth of everything coming out is shocking and disheartening.
Especially when you factor in that this is likely a very small fraction of the scope of what is actually occurring.
My heart goes out to all the victims. I only hope this lead to the changes the industry so clearly needs so that abuse is no longer normalised around wrestling.
