this is america: highly opinionated annoying rant abt the u.s. kinda rush
The U.S is recognized for being the Land of the Free. Many people willingly throw away their past lives to become a part of a country that sought unification under the pretenses of economic opportunities, personal freedom or relief from political & religious prosecution etc.
However, the tragic American Dream ideal that loyal citizens hold to be true is immortalized through escapism. Many become blind to the rest of the worldâs existence, or even blantantly refuse to acknowledge that much of humanity is literally killing itself.
Told famously through the story of Adam and Eve, mankind is itâs own destruction. If people arenât willing to open their eyes to change then history will keep on repeating itself over and over again until nothing is left to repeat. We cannot hold these values to be true anymore.
As a nation, we hold great power. As citizens, we hold privilege that many people outside our country do not have. We could choose to be quiet. Plug our ears w/ some new pair of headphones, blaring the National Anthem & become deaf to the outcries of the world.
Citizens even reject their fellow citizens; many refuse to aid the poor, many choose to play sirens over the protesting for unjustified lost lives. They decide to blame fellow citizens for what the broken systems of government enforced as their interpretation of justice.
People choose patriotism over humanity iself, or seek satisfaction through paper bills. Money will buy you temporary happiness but it wonât fix permanent damage, bring people back to life, or prevent disasters from raining on victims that happen to be affected.
Our society is literally a ouroboros. How long will the U.S. be able to stand on top of lives lost through itâs restrictive policies or actions until the whole system falls apart? No country is perfect, however thatâs not an excuse to ignore prevalent issues.
How are we No. 1 in everything but anything concerning the well-beings of our people? Thatâs what the government is mainly in charge of. By the way, politics donât actually help whenever weâre not the ones actually in power, the government is & all we can do is refer to them.
As much as I could complain, if thereâs no actions to be done then it literally means nothing. I can speak about Americaâs broken systems however whatâs the plan? To rebuild the Constitution so it applies to everyone?
Take down the hands in charge & somehow find a way to take
Take down the hands in charge & somehow find a way to take
over some power? What could we do against the government that could succeed instead of ending in people missing or something?
The problem with our political voting system is that itâs literally not effective. Regardless, itâs not about what you want. Itâs about what the people in power want and think is good for you.
Democratic versus Republican being the two main parties of leadership doesnât really matter. While Democratic ideas call out the issues of America but do nothing to really conquer them, Republican ideas normally do get filled out but donât benefit most citizens +
except like the first class and upper middle class. Not to mention presidential candidates are literally just Personalities instead of actual leaders. Theyâre literally incapable of really being able to do much, even if they tried to enforce new ideas.
Look at the 2016 election. You have Hillary & Trump competing for who could be the most scandalous and problematic (while their fams were besties) while people argue over whoâs really the better fit, and another growing percentage of Americans who chose to not vote at all.
According to this study: http://www.electproject.org/2016g ">https://www.electproject.org/2016g&quo...
4 out of 6 Americans did not vote. While we literally can vote for the representation for our country, we decided not to do the one thing thatâs special to us: Taking advantage of our freedom.

Can we honestly blame everything on the government? No, not really. Realistically weâre supposed to work together or some shit, but right now Americaâs in a family feud and everyoneâs pointing fingers but little conflict is actually being solved.
the people in charge r literally just there to be a collective group of rich and influential people while the elections are contests based on who has the most power honestly
Anyways, when Iâm speaking about the problems this thread isnât very helpful with solutions. Thatâll be a different thread. However, in conclusion many of these were literally clear to us all. But this is the time that something must be done & to be reminded & motivated so...
