Michael Biggs researched the Tavistock puberty blockers trial and found an interim result that blockers increase feelings of suicidality. The story was covered on Newsnight and globally. The issue of fast-tracking of older adolescents is of particular concern. The Health Research Authority reviewed the ethical review process for the Tavistock's puberty blockers trial.
