Do you ever think about toxic college involvement culture and how it was a constant battle between trying to acquire social capital, being a part of multiple organizations, making an impact, and still somehow balancing a full time course load and having fun? Yeah, me neither
On the real though, don’t fall for that shit. If there’s one thing I learned from UF involvement culture is that it’s very easy to get sucked in and forget what matters. Love yourself and make sure you have enough time to focus on your mental health.
By all means do get involved, but please don’t feel like you need to do it all. Find what you’re passionate about and stick to it. Know what your limit is and remember, at the end of the day you’re there to graduate and get that degree
And finally some wise words for current college students from one of my favs
