So, as there are some of you that are uncertain let me explain what an affiliate link is☺️

Affiliate links are just like normal links to a website. They contain a cookie, which notes if you make a purchase after you click on the link.

The website you bought from... https://twitter.com/casestreetx/status/1273721753349640192
let’s say Amazon, keeps track of the amounts purchased through the unique coding in my links. Everyone’s coding is different!

As a result, the owner of the codes will receive a small commission for referring the sale.

||IMPORTANT POINTS||
✨This does not cost you...
anything extra

✨Nobody except the website you purchase from (eg Amazon) sees your personal information

✨I only promote/share links to products which I genuinely love and think my readers would love too

✨You should always be told if a link is an affiliate link. I do this..
by stating so at the beginning of my blog posts and tweets.

||WHY DO YOU USE THEM?||

I use them sparingly, to financially support my mental health blog, without costing my audience anything extra.

||ADVICE FOR BLOGGERS||
👉🏻Don’t drown your blog in affiliate links. Your...
audience will be able to tell when you genuinely love a product, and when a link has been thrown in just because.

👉🏻Always disclose your affiliate links! If you aren’t being upfront and honest with your audience, they will spend their time supporting someone else who is.
I hope that this thread has helped you to understand what affiliate links are👏🏻Please let me know angels!

All my love💓
