It is racist to suggest some people are less accountable for their decisions/actions due to their race. This is what is known as the racism of low expectations.

Data shows 90% of Black homicides are committed by fellow Blacks according to FBI statistics. If we truly care about saving as many lives as possible, we should focus on the leading cause of 90% (B on B) of homicides, not 8.5% (W on B).

A Black person is more likely to kill a White person than the other way around. As the data posted shows, the respective percentages are 15.2% (Black on White homicides) to 8.5% (White on Black homicides).

For every 10,000 Black people arrested for violent crime, 16 are shot and killed by the police, whereas for every 10,000 White people arrested, 20 are shot and killed by police.

A Black/Hispanic officer is more likely to shoot someone who is Black/Hispanic, than a White officer is to shoot someone who is Black/Hispanic.

People seem to make the racist assumption policemen are all White when this far from true.

Blacks are statistically more than 279% than their proportionate population to commit a violent crime.

As 37.4% of all violent crimes are committed by Blacks when they make up just 13.4% of the general population.

For Whites (including Hispanics), the proportionate number of violent crimes relative to their population is actually LESS.

On a related note, men are killed at a "disproportionate" rate relative to their numbers compared to women. Will people now claim the police are sexist?

Study violent crime data versus police fatalities based on a city by city or suburb by suburb basis, not state by state. Else, the data gets skewed. E.g., compare violent crimes per thousand for Alameda (6.6) and San Francisco (8.2) with Orange County (2.0) and Santa Clara (2.5).

The crime rates are standardized despite some cities having double, triple, or even quadruple the rates of violent crime. This is but one example.

The #BlackLivesMatter movement continues to perpetuate a culture of victimhood.

This is without going into the root causes plaguing Black neighbourhoods; namely Democrat policies leading to poverty, the glorification of a criminal under culture, absent fathers, and single mums.

In 2011, children living in female-headed homes with no spouse present had a poverty rate of 47.6%. This is over four times the rate for children living in married couple families.

In 1949 the poverty rate stood at 34%. By 1965, the poverty rate had decreased by half to 17%. After Democrat President Lyndon Johnson's so called "War on Poverty" the poverty rate has flat lined despite government spending exceeding $20 trillion to fight poverty since then.

In 1965, nearly 25% of Black children were born to unwed mothers, today it is nearly 75% and higher in certain urban areas.

If you subsidize undesirable behaviour you will get more undesirable behaviour.

The welfare system has led women in effect to marry the government, making it all too easy for men to walk away from moral and financial responsibilities. Psychologically, this is known as "learned helplessness".

Blacks unquestioned allegiance to so-called progressive policies have been their undoing. Progressivism is the common thread that binds predominantly Black cities where single-parent homes, failing schools, rampant poverty and crime predominate.

Take for example Detroit, Philadelphia, and Baltimore which have been run by progressive Democrats for decades. If their policies were at all effective, these cities should have become models of economic growth and prosperity. Instead they’re models of dysfunction.

By fostering and exploiting the victim mentality, discouraging self-examination, subsidizing single mothers, and making excuses for Black crime, so-called progressive policies don’t alleviate the problems that afflict the Black community, they aggravate these problems.
