Jobs are often tied to our identities. Losing yours to the pandemic will be a dark struggle. It's human and COMPLETELY natural to feel lost (my dad numbed his pain with alcohol).

But press on. Apply to as many jobs as you want but also be patient with yourself: You'll get more out of dedicating time and effort into tailoring a CV and cover letter to a role rather than mass applying using a generic one.
More importantly, REWARD YOURSELF AFTER EACH APPLICATION YOU COMPLETE!

Lots of esteemed places are offering online courses. There will be people who advise switching careers - here's another great offering from The Woke Salaryman on one guy's humbling account https://thewokesalaryman.com/2020/06/15/i-switched-careers-at-34-and-became-a-data-analyst-heres-how/ but do not beat yourself up, it isn't easy and not for everyone!
In the mean time, leverage on your contacts. The human effect really does pay off, even if it doesn't bring you directly to where you'd want to be.

And a word of advice from my psychiatrist: To take each day as it comes. Economies are slowly re-opening (although I don't quite agree with this) and life will recover. In the meantime, look out for yourself. My DMs are open if you need advice and a listening ear. x
