I read this in 8th grade. I didn’t have access to buy books online, so I asked my teacher Mr. Bacalia if he can order it for me & I’d give him cash. He was so cool. We used to talk about music, & I just remember coming into class one day, he gave me my book. I was fucking happy
I thought I was so cool because I was so into grunge & knew everything about Nirvana & then I dived into Foo Fighters, & then punk, The Germs, NOFX, Misfits, Ramones, anything & everything. I’d watch documentaries & always carried two iPods on me. Lol

I am fucking cool as fuck
I felt like fucking baby from baby driver.
ACID FOR THE CHILDREN
I’m so fucking lucky I was able to go to his book talk & get a signed copy. This is Flea, my favorite bassist from Red Hot Chili Peppers. I read this memoir in less than a week & enjoyed every second of it. It’s so gooood
& currently reading and almost done BUT I should’ve finished this a long time ago... but I suck & I’m so busy 🥺 I can’t wait for the next book
If you like sad poetry, you should check these out. Helped me through a tough time. Cried and all but totally worth it
