i don't think people realize the amount of garbage and abuse and horror teenage girls swallow and accept apart of every day life. grown women it owe it to teenage girls to fight for them at all costs. if not us, then who?
i remember trying to explain to a teenage girl i was advising that the adult who was meant to protect her had failed her. her response? she was convinced it was her choice and she had been in control. i worry about that girl every day even though she's now an adult.
don't let adults get away with hurting teenage girl. err on the side of caution. be ever vigilant. protect teenage girls. they are formidable but they are still learning.
and they are full of revolution. their lives depend on revolution. lift them up and listen to them. do not dismiss teenage girls. they know the score. give them tools and support and let them lead. who the heck do you think joan of arc was if not a teenage girl?
respect teenage girls. they are operating under the worst conditions and they expect nothing in return. they love their friends. they love goodness. they love colors in the world. they want it to be better. empower them. don't coddle them. and for the love of h*ck protect them.
