This is not going to be a popular comment, but... There shouldn't be charges.

#BreonnaTayor should not be dead. A no knock warrant & night raid were obscene & her family should win a huge, massive civil judgment. Bankrupt Louisville. But not every wrong, even this, is criminal https://twitter.com/DDotOmen/status/1273670979349348357
Though the warrant and the raid should have gone differently, the officers there acted (worst case) in accordance with the warrant. The boyfriend fired for good reason, but when he did, the officers were legally entitled to fire. Nobody intended to hit Taylor & nothing I've seen
suggests that anything any officer did *once they were fired on* was negligent or excessive. The wrongdoing here was creating the situation in the first place, not the behavior of anyone in the situation once events were in play
And you can't get murder or even manslaughter charges for making bad tactical decisions about how to execute a warrant.

It's not fair to Taylor's family. It's not justice. In a just world, someone would carry a guilty verdict. But I don't see how to get there.
Maybe I'm missing something. Maybe there are facts I'm not considering. And if there's someone who acted criminally in all this, I *want* them to hang. But I don't see it in the facts I currently know.
#BreonnaTayor should still be alive.
