All main actors are returning to reprise their roles: Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, Dan Fogler as Jacob, Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald and Ezra Miller as Aurelius?/Credence.
Although the filming has been delayed due to the COVID-19 worldwide situation, the official release date remains November 12, 2021 today. We can suppose Warner Bros. will push it again, but nothing has been confirmed so far.
Dan Fogler (Jacob Kawolski) said the third movie is "bigger than the first two combined." @jk_rowling had to describe it in three words and she said: "Answers are given".
. @jk_rowling also confirmed Newt is going to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, while Stuart Craig (production designer) said he was working on a Ministry of Magic based on Berlin, so we will probably see Germany too.
Jessica Williams will have a bigger role as Lally Hicks, a professor at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the United States of America.
Variety reported that the production of #FantasticBeasts 3 planned to begin filming in Iceland in March. It is probably that the location was chosen to film Nurmengard scenes - we already saw some of it at the ending of #TheCrimesOfGrindelwald.
Lastly, remember that Steve Kloves joined @jk_rowling on the writing of the screenplay. The last two were written purely by Jo, while this one will be by both of them. For those who doesn't know, Steve Kloves wrote all the screenplays for the Harry Potter, except for HP5.
