Today Tr*mp was quoted trying to take credit for people talking about Juneteenth. It confirmed something for me.

Tr*mp knows this isn't about him, and he knows that this could be the reason why it defeats him.
Tr*mp rode into the presidency on a wave of white fear. He promised that he would set it right. He promised that he would have the power to restore white people back to their place of supremacy.

The entire debate became about Tr*mp. What could he do? What could he not do?
And in that debate, this basic ass loser of a man was given a damn near mythological status. Would he be a savior or a destroyer?
But the brutality that we've seen in white supremacy has not been wielded by Tr*mp. It's been in our cities and towns. In our police forces, our prosecutors.

People are finally seeing what activists have been saying all along - IT'S NOT ABOUT HIM.
And we've taken these battles to the cities and towns. We've taken these battles to the mayors and the police forces and the prosecutors and the city councils. We've taken our protests to where white supremacy lives in our lives.
And Tr*mp is so angry. If he's not the white supremacy we battle, how can he be the white supremacy that white people vote for?

What if white people realize that he's a basic ass loser?
And the more he screams about it, the more he tries to take credit for it, the more the headlines talk about what we are doing in our cities and towns. It is showing white America what a silly choice they made. He's not just racist. He's not just sexist. He's also useless.
And as we take on white supremacy in our cities and towns white America is going to have to grapple with the fact that they have no savior - that we are coming for the real institutions that have oppressed us an they and their sad broken muppet of a president can't stop us.
