Good evening and welcome to #BikeSchool, the weekly twitter chat about bikes and biking. I am professor @Greg_loper. Tonight's class is a virtual recovery ride. So, make sure your water bottles are full and your tires are inflated. Class will start in 5 minutes.
Welcome to #BIkeSchool! Are you ready to roll? If you've never participated in #BIkeSchool before you are in for a fun hour!
Here is how #BikeSchool works. As tonight’s professor I will ask a series of questions for participants to answer. All the questions start with ***Q + a number and will be replies in this thread (so you can always backtrack to find your place.)
The members of tonight’s #Bikeschool, respond with A + the Q number to each question. There are no right or wrong answers so don’t feel intimidated (you will get the hang of this pretty quickly.)
Reminder to use the #BikeSchool hashtag in your replies so the “class” can follow along.
The history of #BikeSchool (in case you're wondering where this came from) can be found at http://lovingthebike.com/bikeschool
#Accessibility tip: Capitalizing each word in a hashtag (or account name) makes it more accessible for people using screen readers https://abilitynet.org.uk/news-blogs/5-ways-make-your-tweets-accessible…. I’ll try to use #BikeSchool tonight and ask you to do the same so more can join tonight's class.
Phew, that was a long syllabus for a #RecoveryRide #BikeSchool
***Q1*** Who is here, where do you call home, and do you ever go on "recovery rides?" #BikeSchool
