I’ve seen a lot of “unpopular” opinion posts relating to some people’s frustrations over con attendee’s buying multiple extras or attending multiple conventions and I just want to express my thoughts about this subject.

Firstly, I’m sorry you feel this way, it must be incredibly frustrating and difficult for you, however, there is no law which states someone cannot attend multiple cons, or try their luck in obtaining certain extra tickets. If they have the means to do so, it’s up to them.

I’ve only attended one convention thus far, so I’m not a regular convention goer, but I do hope to meet some first timers and con-cants at future events. Now let me just state something as the person behind @earperconfund;

A lot of the Earpers who do have the luxury of attending multiple conventions or purchasing certain VIP/extras, donated their own money to the Earper Convention Fund, which ultimately has secured three Earper con-cants the opportunity to attend their first conventions.

Now, I do understand some people are frustrated/upset and your feelings are valid, but I just wanted to make you aware (if you didn’t already know) about the above. Because at the end of it all, all Earpers should be able to experience a convention and meet their favourites.

And not all multiple con goers or regular VIPers want to take anything away from you. I understand it might feel or seem that way, but they, just like me, would love to see new faces at conventions.
