So, there is a pregnant student in my school this semester, which should be no-one's business, only she might give birth before the end of term so she's been asking profs if she can submit the final papers a couple of weeks earlier

Some faculty were disturbed by this (????), so chair formed a committee to "discuss the case of Pregnant Student) and I was summoned bc I said yes when she asked if she could submit earlier

There were 2 women and 4 men. Let's not read much into it.
It was a f*cking nightmare. They started asking why was she pregnant in the first place.

One (male) prof said we shouldn't agree to early submissions as a form of punishment, so she can learn consequences of her acts

The other female prof said something like "oh, she'll regret it the moment the poor child is born"
(I was speechless and for a moment I seriously thought this was a bad joke)

I starting sayIng that all of this is not their damn business and then another male prof said "of course you mommies have to stand for eachother".
Well, YEAH!

My attempts at definding her were uselss until another male prof decided it's not "bad" to get pregnant and it's not bad to submit earlier either (stuff I'd kept sayong for the past 14 mins)

The rest of the committee said "you're right bro" Apparently I was invisible today. I actually checken the zoom audio but it was on.

Finally this male prof said she could sue if we are not carefull, everybody panicked and now she can submit early. But honestly, ppl, Wtf???
