Here’s the Thread of what I know so far: David Starr tweeted his statement on allegations that he had sexually abused his partner, in his statement which is no longer on twitter because his account has been deleted, he admits to ‘grey rape’ but attempts to claim,

he’s not a predator. Independent wrestling companies have started to strip him of championships and many are now banning him from competing in the organisation ever again.

I found out tonight, that many NXT UK Wrestlers such as Joe Coffey, El Ligero, Jordan Devlin and Travis Banks and Independent Wrestlers such as Will Osprey, Marty Scrull and Joey Ryan also have had allegations towards them.

Many of the victims are slowly coming out to expose these wrestlers, which is an extremely brave thing for the survivors to do and I hope they can heal from those terrible experiences.

This is now becoming a rising problem, a few weeks ago, Velveteen Dream, a popular NXT star denied allegations of sending nudes to minors, no more information has come out but it could mean they were false, but it’s not certain.

Just yesterday, a famous account in the Internet Wrestling Community, someone I used to follow, admitting to flirting with minors, which was shocking due to him exposing a pedophile earlier this year.

Wrestling is filled with dark stories and tragic events, but to see a large number of wrestlers from one circuit be accused of terrible acts has to make you wonder, why this is still happening.

Young female wrestlers should not have to go through shit like that, a lot of young wrestlers aren’t even 18, when they start so to hear stories about this, it truly disgusts me. Independent wrestling well and truly needs to get better at preventing this,

and wrestlers need to stop abusing their fame for this. I wouldn’t be surprised if WWE and AEW stars get hit with allegations, though with those companies, they’d sadly find a way to keep things quiet.

To all the wrestlers that have been accused, if those events are true, you’re all pieces of shit and I wish the survivors and victims heal from their experiences and help bring change to create a better wrestling community.

To clarify, i will be adding to this tweet if necessary, but from what i’ve read, 45 Wrestlers in the British Wrestling scene have been accused of doing such things.

Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews have both publicly made statements condoning everything going on and asking for change, Pete Dunne also tweeted negatively about David Starr last year though not over this, but a different topic altogether.

Walter and Imperium, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven and PAC are not a part of the list and have had no allegations thrown at them.

The British Wrestling scene is truly going to be widely affected for years to come and rightfully so, a lot of grooming and sexual abuse has come out from these stories, British Wrestling has to change, young female wrestlers should not have to worry about this,

yet it still happens. Things need to be put in place to stop this. I’ve also heard, WWE are doing an emergency meeting in regards to several NXT UK stars all of which is based in the UK, i personally think they will let them go and we could see the end of,

NXT UK as we know it. The remaining stars, I have no idea what they’ll do.
