Think the only way Barcelona can start winning again (properly) is to make some big tough decisions that help us change the dynamic of the squad. Valverde left, Setien settled in and we can hardly see a major difference. I still think we play better than what most people think -
but we can obviously improve so much. That is down the the limitations some key and aggravated issues in the squad put the club under.
We're still an aging squad. We're still slow in transitions and possession alike. We're still vulnerable to counter attacks.

We're still a dysfunctional pressing unit. We still struggle to win the ball back. We still find it difficult to create 1v1 situations and then succeed in those 1v1 situations. We still don't have enough (or good enough) wing-play.
These issues - the more I think about it - seem to stem from individual and collective shortcomings rather than a tactical or structural problem. Goal should be to have a clear idea of what to do and then bringing players in to fit that idea.
Bringing players in from the market or from academy, I don't care. If Riqui Puig fits your idea of how your team should play, put Vidal and Rakitic on the market. If Riqui doesn't and neither do those two - scout someone and sign him.
However I should say that do not disrespect *players* of your club for not playing how you want them to. The perform well, in their own style. Now that doesn't fit how you want them to play, fine (already said that they should be sold in the case).
