all i’m saying is: i had a mcgriddle in macon, mississippi, last winter and it was one of the best fast food items i’ve ever had. then i had another one in norman, oklahoma to confirm it.

Once again, McDonald’s has indulged its old, hard-driving corporate curiosity and created a new entry into the fast food breakfast canon. Remember the feeling of enjoying their pancakes in the ‘80s? What I’m saying is McDonald’s has captured that moment again, in the McGriddle.

I went probably 20 years or more in between eating at McDonald’s because the grease in the old one near my house (in Briargate on W Fuqua, for the people on the Southside who know) smelled funny and it made me sick every time after. But the McGriddle made me a believer.
