Finally got all of my online orders in... It would've been 2 days ago but someone lost the mail key so that was a fun 2 day wait... I'll show all of the items later tonight. I thought it was worth it but I'm sure someone here will disagree. You'll see when I reveal it.

Alright, time to reveal everything I got online. Starting things off with the main item. Got it Saturday and I've been getting it up and running since. If I waited another day I would've just now got it. This is my new MCD (Media consumption device) for the foreseeable future.

I had to. I literally had to. None of you know this but this is what the old one (The M9) looks like right now. It has known overheat issues and either the metal expanded or the battery bloated... Something. Regardless, it looks like a hot mess. Its battery is about done, too.

I got the G5 because it has a removable battery. Also better performance & camera, a Fingerprint Scanner, Higher Android OS version (Only to 7 tho, up from 6) and the QHD screen. Plus this volume rocker is very clicky. I like that. Will miss the front speakers tho.

It also has QC 3.0 & USB C. The first time I plugged in the charger I fell in love. I've been on a super loose charger for a while and when i heard the click and tried to pull it out i had to actually try. I wanna get a braided cord down the line tho.

So far only 2 complaints with it: 1, the seller didn't state minor temporary burn-in when white images are stationary. I was able to 95% fix it with a darken-screen app. 2, Vudu sucks on it. Crashes the device playing downloaded content and stutters hard playing streamed content.

That second one seems to be a device-based issue with varying specific apps on different manufactured G5 devices. AFAIK not model based. So far only Vudu. Netflix is fine. YouTube is fine. Need to see if a MA compatible service works fine for owned digital MA compatible titles.

Speaking of, here is the rest of the online pickups. Nice haul I'd say. Only complaint here is that The Shining on the Horror set is in Full Screen. Needed T1 so I got that set and more Echo Bridge because "I have too many EBHE sets as it is. Heck, I'll purchase some more."

After the online pickups, here is what my movie collection looks like now. I still wanted to display the Miramax horror set so I got slightly creative with it... Thank god for this 3-axis OIS on the new device camera. Everything is super-clear in one shot.

Wanna type more about the new MCD. So people complain about the build quality... "It's not metal" what other device has a metal construction that has a thick layer of primer paint on top to... Yeah, never mind. Personally, I'd rather have this than being burned from direct metal.

This whole modular thing LG tried to go for is both unique and stupid... Hey, thanks for calling me out! Anyways, nobody made any and only one module works with my model... A frickin' camera module with camera shortcut buttons. That's it. It has a small battery tho lol

Still have things to test out on this but looking really good so far. Also it has uhh NFC for paying for things so okay I guess. There's one last thing I wanna try tonight it might be a bit but this better work.
