Or! @TORDFC
I have a better idea!
I'm starting the #RedDwarf30DayChallenge right the smeg now.
Day One - The End
Chosen because it's the first episode I remember watching. Obviously, being a tiny when I first watched this show, I hadn't a clue what was going on but I liked it.

Watching this episode right off the back of TPL is just. Trippy. I'm wondering how Lister could forget that the cats saw him as their god. Tbf to him, it has been a long time, and he has been through a hell of a lot since then. #RedDwarf30DayChallenge @TORDFC
Day 2 of the #RedDwarf30DayChallenge - today's episode is Stoke Me A Clipper. I chose this one because it hits me in the Rimster feels, and it shows just how well Lister knows Rimmer; he knows exactly how to egg Rimmer on into taking up the Ace mantle. @TORDFC +
#RedDwarf30DayChallenge and yanno I can't help but feel a little proud of Rimmer for taking it in his stride as best he can, but also a little nervous for him bc he's just been thrown in at the deep end and he has to just. Be Ace. Without sufficient training. @TORDFC +
#RedDwarf30DayChallenge and I'm gonna spare you all my Rimster shipping thoughts on this episode. @TORDFC
(I've also decided to rewatch Identity Within again while I'm at it, this time with subtitles.)

@TORDFC #RedDwarf30DayChallenge Day 3 - an episode where they visit Earth
I chose Backwards, which coincides with me having started reading the book. The first scene with Lister and Cat thirsting on Wilma Flintstone is perhaps the most relatable scene in the entire show +

Even if it is only from a fangirl perspective. So don't worry, you're not going strange, Dave. I feel that.
I'm just glad he's not stuck on Backwards Earth for 35 years and falsely jailed for the unmurder Kryten unwittingly committed. #RedDwarf30DayChallenge @TORDFC

I forgot to mention that if you listen hard enough to the newspaper article Kryten reads to Rimmer, you will hear the subtlest of @montypython references. #RedDwarf30DayChallenge @TORDFC
Oh and I did watch this episode from end to beginning and it was trippaaaayyy.

#RedDwarf30DayChallenge Day 4 - An episode set entirely on Red Dwarf
Today's episode is Fathers and Suns, rather fitting since it's Father's Day today. I chose it bc the Dave-era eps deserves some love too. I particularly enjoy the running gag about Chinese Whispers. @TORDFC +

The hilarious part of this episode is that Lister is rebelling against himself
who knew he'd end up saving his own ass by putting his son on file at the medibay #RedDwarf30DayChallenge @TORDFC

#RedDwarf30DayChallenge Day 5 - an episode featuring a recurring character.
I went with Cassandra. The recurring character I originally had in mind was Kill Crazy, but Hollister and Ackerman qualify too. @TORDFC
I agree with Lister's stance on destiny and predeterminism +

Being bullshit, but for a different reason. Idk I just think that if you say something will happen to two people, and that they can't change it, those two people will inevitably make it happen and freak out that your prediction is coming true. #RedDwarf30DayChallenge @TORDFC +
Therefore, I think that all prophecies end up being self fulfilling anyway. I think Lister misunderstood the prophecy that he kills Cassandra; he assumed she predicted him killing her in cold blood, he didn't think it would be accidental. #RedDwarf30DayChallenge @TORDFC
Totally smegged this thread up so here's my Day 6 threadlette https://twitter.com/ConeyIsleBlitz/status/1275533954515435526?s=19
