So I wanted to make a thread about India Kager a black women who was killed in front of her 4 month old son by the Virgina Beach after firing 30 shots to her car at 7-Eleven because suspicious that her boyfriend Angelo Perry would commit a crime.
Let’s start India was not violent person or anything close to it. Her mother expresses that she was a navy veteran and worked for US Postal Services and also had a passion for music.
In this podcast India’s mother Gina speaks on the situation and how life has been and in just rememberance of daughters life. I encourage everyone to listen to it. https://open.spotify.com/episode/2u0TsqO6murP7QPxV1pjP9?si=SaFW2BEQSsyUwOiyslMvxw
On the day of her death in 2015 she had drove from Maryland to Virginia Beach with Angelo to visit Angelo’s family so they could their 4 month old son Roman for the first time. What they did not know was the police where planning to “arrest” Angelo.
They followed them to several places before reaching 7 eleven, everywhere Angelo went India & Roman where there yet they still felt a need to shoot at the car knowing that there was a women in baby in there who posed absolutely no threat.
Angelo Perry, India’s boyfriend had a criminal past having served 13 years in prison for assault on a Virginia Beach police officer. India’s mother Gina believes that the police had it out for him and were just waiting on a moment.
After his parents were shoot & killed Roman, India’s son was placed into foster care for 4 months rather than giving him to his grandmother Gina or any other relative. Gina also said that unlike what the police reported Roman had be injured badly and had many struggles after
4 of the officers involved in India’s murder were placed on admistrative leave yet never convicted. The Chef started that faced severe “emotional damage” from the situation yet completely neglected India’s 4 month old son.
The most the Kager family received on compensation was 800k. However still to this day they will not return any of India’s belongings to her mother.
