In 2012, Burrell Ramsey-White was killed by Boston Police officer Mathew Pieroway. I bring this up a lot in hopes that someone who didn't know Burrell (I was his 9th grade English teacher) will show some interest in untangling the suspicious circumstances of his death.

BPD ran the plate of a car and found the owner had a warrant. They pulled the car over, but the owner, Jurrell Laronal, wasn't driving. Burrell Ramsey-White was. He produced his license, but, according to police, they didn't look at it.

Anyway, something happens--the report doesn't say what-- and Burrell drives away. The police pursue him. He ditches the car and runs to the back door of the building where he lives.
Officer Pieroway claims he sees Burrell reach for a gun, though his account doesn't make any sense--he claims he saw a bulge under Burrell's shirt and also a gun in his hand. There was a witness--this witness never mentions seeing a gun.
Pieroway shoots Burrell dead at the back door of his building.
The cops recover the gun they allege was in Burrell's hand from a dumpster next to the stairs where he was killed. I does not have his fingerprints on it. A DNA test reveals DNA from 2 people, one of whom was male. That's it.
Coroner's report shows Burrell died from the bullet fired by Matthew Pieroway, BUT--he also had another bullet from another gun lodged in his lower intestine. I don't know how long you can walk around with an abdominal gunshot wound, but I can't imagine it's a long time.

Thing I just found out: the owner of the car, Jurrell Laronal, was arrested for driving with a suspended license two days before Burrell was stopped for being him. https://www.boston25news.com/news/residents-claim-video-shows-cops-using-excessive-force/138790368/ He was beaten by several officers during his arrest.
Unanswered questions:
1. Why did police lie about the reason for the traffic stop?
2. Why didn't police look at the license that showed Burrrell was not the one they were looking for?
3. Where's the surveillance footage? Why not release it if it supports Pieroway's story?

I feel like there's enough here that someone should try to get to the bottom of this. I've contacted journalists, politicians, etc., and nobody seems to care. But I do. And I think you should too.
