I don't know if it's how I look, sound, act, dress, whatever...

but I've gotten far, FAR more support from total strangers online than I've EVER gotten from a psychotherapist 💀
yes, I've been on the merry-go-round of medications and evaluations

no, none of it really helped at all

so now I just cope, read psych resources for myself, and try to tell others what I know (hardest part)
also the only person willing to diagnose me with ptsd was another latina sooooooo...

if you have a good program or counselor that's working for you, keep doing that đŸŒ»

but if you're just getting into therapy, please be aware that you may have to become your own best advocate, and that medical racism (or any -ism) can be an obstacle here too
