THREAD: Why Ndombele is a football genius and why opposing clubs should be worried.
In white is what a normal player would see but Ndombele knows that one of the 2 CB’s will push onto Moura forcing him to go back, or to lose the ball.

He knows he needs to play a killer pass here while the opposition are out of shape and spots the red (Son) where there’s a gap.
I cannot stress how important for us this is to have in a midfielder, some games you need a killer ball to break open up world class defences as we’ve seen before with Christian Eriksen when he plays a wonderful pass to Dele to score against Chelsea
Having just spoke of his passing and vision, this video of Ndombele shows his dribbling. He is very unpredictable on the ball, using skill moves to hold onto it. He also uses his body well to protect the ball, similar to players like Hazars and Dembele
As I just said, it reminds me of Mousa Dembele when he was at Spurs. He uses his body to hold off a defender and you could see how much it benefited us having that strength and dribbling ability in the midfield. See how it benefits us when he was at Spurs
Ndombele not only has the ability to spot short, killer passes, he has a good range of passing which is important in a midfielder when playing killer passes or switching the ball to try and break the defence apart. Take a look at Ndombele’s long range passing ability.
It’s not a CM’s job to get goals but we’ve seen Tanguy amongst them so far at Spurs, showing some excellent finishing. The way he keeps himself composed is brilliant and not many players would be able to keep a shot down with that amount of power
We’ve looked at Ndombele’s attacking ability, now let’s look at his defensive ability.
As we have seen from this thread, Tanguy is a well rounded player and exactly what Tottenham needed in their midfield after stupidly selling Mousa Dembele.

It looks as if Ndombele has worked hard to get into shape and at just 23 years old, he has a very bright future at Spurs
