Kids don’t understand death like that even when it’s a parent. They’ll cry one minute and will play the next. And it isn’t bc they dont care or aren’t sad.

Btw im an experienced educator. And have seen a child experience death with a family member and he was confused one minute but kept a smile throughout the entire school year. He even raised money and donated it to a hospital that treated his past parent. I love that kid a lot

and check on him regularly. I’m sure of course misses his dad but he does not understand it the same way an older person would if their parent died. She doesn’t need the constant reminder that her father died. I don’t think it’s fair to automatically put an activist symbol and
