To identify when a WR becomes an elite (top-5 WR) prospect, I use 4 Phases:

1) Early Career Production
2) True Catch Rate
3) First Down Rate
4) COE

Phase 1: Early Production

Since 2000, WRs who have had one of their first two seasons with OVER 65 yards per game had the following:

~79% hit rate for a top-10 PPG season
~38% hit rate for a top-5 ""
