EXPOSING GAGADAILY: A THREAD
I used to see every Gaga Daily tweet cause I really thought they were the biggest fansite around the world and potentially represented all fans. I used to think they were good at news and even had contact with Haus of Gaga.
But we experimented a lot of things that showed that: 1) they don't represent Lady Gaga fans; 2) they don't represent what Gaga says; 3) they are only interested in maintain the money going on backstage, but they don't want to help Gaga at all.
And that kind of behaviour is truly sad and makes some fans, like me, angry every time we see somebody from Gaga's team giving them the attention they don't deserve.
Today, we have other fansites that respect everybody, but they don't have the attention this one have.
This is about being exhausted of their behaviour and informing fans that if they won't change cause it's the right thing to do, they need to change with people unfollowing them and not giving the attention they need to survive.
As Brazilian fans we got used to see people making fun of our country, but as a community based on love about Gaga, we try every day change the kind of view people have about us. Yes, we have internet and big buildings, we don't live in jungles and we have universities.
Fans like Marc Monster already said things that hurt. Like when Gaga said she was coming to do BTW Ball in Brasil, he said we were monkeys, we don't have internet and she was going to get malaria coming to our country

None of this are true and call people monkey is racist.
Well, after the cancellation of Rock in Rio in 2017, Gaga announced she would do Las Vegas residency.

Thinking only on their buts, Gaga Daily said it was better for her not travel anymore and fans replied that they couldn't afford the expenses to a US show.

They replied:
When some fans replied them saying this wasn't fair for everyone, principally Brazilian fans explaining how fans sold soda cans, chocolates and did impossible things to see Gaga in our own country, they started playing the victim still making the point "is fair for every body".
The point is: fans we're saying "no, it's not fair for everyone, you need to think it global, not only about fans with money" and they didn't listen.

They started blocking fans that were only explaining the truth world they live in.
And the fact that they made fun of Brazil with "still devasted" made people more angry cause they never tried to had contact with Brazilian fans, they never treated us fair and never showed respect about the immense public Gaga has here.

Other accounts understood the issue:
And then they delete the bad things they say after blocking people to pretend they were wrongly accused of things.
When Brazilian fans fought back, they got suspended from Twitter.

But the thing is, they still played the victim, calling us "horrible as usual"
And when somebody finally said the kind of behaviour they were having year after year after year with fans from the "third world":
I don't think it's funny or okay assuming you are a xenophobic person (in this case, a fansite).

But if it was only about replying a tweet we could excuse them.
Again, when they tried to "defend" Gaga from some random video posted online about mental illness, they quoted Brazil in a context that they know nothing about and they didn't even needed to mention:
Well surprise Gaga Daily, Brazil have good doctors and our univertistes have a lot of students who started a movement about talk, research and deal with mental health, not only while you're a student, but in various aspects of life.
If they only did a small research they could see in what point the discussion on this country is. Yes, we have a lot of wrongs, but the fact they have to talk with prejudice about something they don't know and don't live made us angry (again).
The thing is they never act like Gaga teach us to act - being the "biggest fansite", they should be the example right?

I remember when they tried to drag Ne-Yo and he replied:
One of the most recent things is about helping Gaga with Rain on Me. People asked why they didn't post about the single, cause this could help Gaga reach the #1 in US.

This is from their forum:
Well

They are one of the Lady Gaga's most followed fansite

But they can't post "buy lady gaga's new single"

Cause they only post things with "quality"
I lost the print, they also said they wouldn't do any streaming parties cause that won't help Gaga at all

Hours later Gaga posted about a streaming party after Chromatica's release (that was cancelled because of the new rise of black lives matter movement in the US)
AND TODAY

We have no surprise seeing LaMaison account telling people this:
Well I'm sure I could have more examples to say but all I know about is from other people telling their shit to me. After the first block I got, I unfollowed them in every social media and I don't want to give any public for their "full with quality" tweets.
When I see people, principally Brazilian fans, humiliating themselves for their Chromatica sticker, I feel angry.

They need to change their behaviour as a fansite, they need to respect people and their countries, they need to respect people individualities.
I know sometimes it's hard taking serious all this "be kind" talk that Gaga says, but as a fansite with big influence you HAVE to be the example, otherwise you don't represent @ladygaga at all.

And if you're tired of taking about her, is okay, we have others that still want
I'm not saying that everybody from Gaga Daily is bad. I'm not saying we should go in their replies and say shit to them.

But we need the change.

Whether they want to or not.

I forgot this one, recently they were transphobic in a tweet and didn't accept what the fans were saying about their post here. They deleted the tweets after the massive dragging, but you can see the fans reply in the search:
