If we really want to discuss slavery then we must do it fairly. Let’s not pick & choose which part of the slavery supply chain we want to discuss. Africans sold other Africans to the white man.

Majority of slaves from Africa went to the Middle East, there’s millions of slaves sold into the America’s that no one really speaks about. That group of women soldiers from Wakanda were in real life slave traders. Benin, Niger, Nigeria, Ghana sold the most slaves

Ashanti are well known for being brutal when capturing slaves. As we speak there are strong movements in Niger & Benin by the tribes most affected by slavery. They are demanding their story be told. Let’s be honest here, we sold our own people and we must face up to our evilness

We go around pretending like we are victims, the audacity. We have a bloody and painful history which we must face up to, if we don’t then this won’t end well. A good example is Gukurahundi. It’s hanging over our heads & we can’t move on. It’s 2020, we can do better
