Is it any surprise England is doing so badly at virus containment when Health & Safety has been the butt of a million jokes for years. I've never sat through any H&S training without at least one person not taking it seriously.

Anyone who actually listened to stuff like Hierarchy of Controls is banging their head against the wall as people casually ignore using facemasks and don't change their habits

people will decry health and safety training as "just use common sense" then proceed to not fucking have any

wonder how many people ignoring virus precautions have never had a job where they had to do COSHH training
