Thread: I’m about to make a list of all the organizations that have currently made statements about racism and called for any action, however vague while @OTW_News has remained silent.
My point is not that these statements are good or sufficient-many are not! However, all have done more than the OTW currently has, and I want to show just how badly out of step their silence is.
I will only include groups that have specifically stood by black members of their own community, called for or committed to change that would involve the group or its members in group specific ways, or recognized the group’s own internal racism or complicity.
This list is not comprehensive. There's probably a lot more.
