All the games I remember playing growing up: a thread
So the first console I ever played was the commodore 64. It was already old af when I played it and I remember my sisters getting it out the loft and setting it up for me. I was like 7 and I swear I could go back and make a sandwich and come back and the games were still loading
So the first game I recall playing was called Dizzy. You're literally an egg that can jump
- basically one of those adventure, side-scrolling platform games. That becomes ridiculously hard for Zero reason

Lemmings! If they don't know about lemmings they're too young for you tbh

Sega Master System II was MY first console however. I played the shit out of this and the fact it had a built in game blew my mind

Wonder boy (III) - half of these games I had no clue what I was doing or why I just liked em cuz they were cute

SONIC! Did you really have a childhood if you never played Sonic
. The cuteness, the frustration when you lost all your coins, the annoying af under water levels that I would die on over and over
and the music >>>>>

Bubble Bobble - I think I only played this a few times and never touched it again tbh. It was cute and fun at times but nothing really that dragged me in
Land of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse - Disney games were all HARD AS SHIT FOR ZERO REASON. Like why???!
PlayStation One. I had the original and then got the smaller version years later. I LOVED my PS1 with a passion

Also my brother in law chipped it and he would download me a shit ton of games everytime I stayed at theirs on the weekends so my library was EPIC. Having a few memory cards was a must

So, my neighbours lent me and my brother Resident Evil. Whilst my mum was at theirs me and my bro put it on, then a zombie jumps out the hallway and kills you. We dashed the controller and hugged on the stairs til my mum came back. I still can't play horror games

Crash Bandicoot - I loved this game so much I obvs got it when they brought it back on the PS4. If there is one game that makes me fucking rage its Crash though! Also RIP Mel Winkler (voice of the Aku Aku mask)

FF VII - this is the first game I played with a real proper story. I was HOOKED, and have played it sooo many times I can't even tell you. I loved the remake. But honestly you can't beat the original (especially if it only comes out in parts and we have to wait years in between)
Tekken 1-3. Hey remember when you didn't need to buy in game content and all you had to do to unlock characters was you know..play the game you PAID for? And the story itself was still pretty good too. Those were the days right?
Tomba! This game was so enjoyable, did I really and truly understand why I had to jump on pigs? Not really.. Did I enjoy it? Yes!

Theme Hospital. I LOVED this game!! They remade it Two Point Hospital and I bought it on switch and its just as good as the original!
Theme Park World! I love these kinda games ngl, if they did a remake for this I'd buy it too. Just wished it had more levels!
Oddworld: Abes Oddysee. Ngl this game kinda creeped me out. The story is actually pretty dark. Will I buy the remake? 10/10
Metal Gear Solid. I don't think you guys understand how atrocious I am at stealth games!!

I can still hear the noise of the exclamation points when the enemies discovered you

FF9 - I loveeeee FF9. Vivi >>>>>>>>
My ONLY dislike is there is not a good OST for it
(obvs I had to get it on the switch too tho
)
My ONLY dislike is there is not a good OST for it

Worms - when I think about it hogs of War basically copied this but made it more open and changed worms to pigs

Battle Arena Toshinden - I wish more people knew about this fighting game, I fucking loved it! My go to was always Ellis

Bloody Roar! I LOVED this game! Being able to turn into animals and fuck people up?? What's not to love

Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time - I remember loving this game but can I even remember the plot. Something about being lost in time

Gex 1-3 - I LOVED these games! The dialogue would absolutely kill me and it was full of mini games too

Gran Turismo. I remember someone in school lent me this and I thought he meant grand theft auto when he said GT. I was lowkey disappointed. Still enjoyed it I guess tho

International Track and Field - nah this game left blisters on your fingers and if it didn't you were just shit soz

Micromachines - one of the few racing games I like! You were basically a tiny car on race tracks made from random shit around the house
I loved it

Mickeys Wild Adventure - I'd replay this if they did a remake tbh. Another Disney game that just got harder for no reason tho

Muppet Monster Adventure - I fucking loveeeee the muppets! I loved this game and the dialogue killed me
Pandemonium - a jester and a sorceress, I can't even remember the plot ngl
but I remember the game lmaoo

Rugrats: Search for Raptor and Rugrats in Paris - Rugrats is one of my fave cartoons, even to this day

so I enjoyed the games and yes I used the cheats to make Tommy swear

Shipwreckers/Overboard! - I was SO shit at this game

the point was to not die I think I just know I kept sinking my own ship aksksksk

The Simpsons Wrestling - alot of people didn't like this game, but I found it so funny

The Smurfs - tbh alot of the side scroller platform games are pretty similar. Play one and you kinda know what to do with the others, regardless of the story

Soul Blade - now called Soul Calibur. I LOVED this game. I think it was probs my fave fighting game ngl
Spyro - I love this lil clumsy dragon, but I bought the remaster on ps4 and I don't remember it being this hard? LOL
Tomb Raider - listen if there's one thing that pissed me off its piranhas! Also I loved how in the 2nd one you could just explore her house. Except that butler was creepy af so I'd lock him in the freezer. And when I was bored I'd dive head first into the floor from a height
