Thread 1/7

I've got some good responses about my tweets about the Sam's Club suppliers. So I decided to dive a little deeper in one of them. Starting with Beijing Deqingyuan, one of the biggest egg producers in the world.

The eggs that @vetblack19 found in Sam's Club today are coming from DQY. It's the national leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization and they are very technology centric. They are very active lately on the #vechain blockchain.

They deliver their eggs to consumers through well-known retail chain companies such as Carrefour, Wal-Mart, Auchan, and Jingkelong. For Wal-Mart, they are using the #vechain blockchain for traceability.

So food safety is playing a big rol in China. DQY has a strict and complete quality control system and have passed various quality and environmental system certifications, and also passed the strict social and environmental assessment of the World Bank IFC.

Now the #vechain blockchain is playing a role in their supply chain for Sam's Club. They are the ones who make good use of Vechain's Multi-Task Transactions. Their eggs for Sam's club are coming in large batches with multiple clauses. Example:

Thread 6/7

Just imagine the scale of it if they decide to role it out even further. Through the Wal-mart deal, #vechain really becomes the enabler of blockchain, that is something that @sunshinelu24 always said in the past. And now we start to see what he means with it.

Some facts:
1. CDC Group is one of their biggest investors, you should look them up if you have time for it.
2. DQY was the only official egg supplier for the Olympic Games in Bejing.
3. I like my eggs with bacon.
