Dalita is a Sanskrit word which means split or scattered.

Prior to 1871, there were no records of untouchables in Hindu society, the people who do unclean jobs meant those who do criminal activities.

Infact, hierarchical society was never a part of India, but it was in Britain.
Before 19th century there were no records of Dalit being used for any people/community, but like we saw how meticulously British wanted to work on Roman Philosophy of Divide and Rule in foreign land. British manufactured Caste Discrimination and put us in those orders.
In Ancient India, we've seen that there was no system of death penalty, but the criminals captured were socially ostracized as highest form of punishment, commonly called exile.

British put people in hierarchy and with their understanding that picking waste is unclean they put..
They branded some sections of society which they considered are lower in hierarchy as unclean/untouchables. It means in Hindu society they referred a whole community as Criminal by birth cause this punishment was meant for Criminals.

Those who do inappropriate and unclean works.
British very cunningly created this term Dalit to push their Invasion theory.

Like in South, the Dalits are also known as Adi Dravida, Adi Karnataka & Adi Andhra, which literally mean First Dravidians, Kannadigas, and Andhras respectively.

These terms were manufactured in 1917.
So how did Hindu Society adopt it?

With education. British anglicised the Brahmins in an effort to eradicate 3000yo culture and Sanskrit so eveyone was dependent on any form of knowledge from English System of Education.

What the bade sahab followed become the trend in streets.
You can understand that British was so obsessed with creating discrimination bias that they created a British Raj postive discrimination/affirmative action efforts in 1935.

They even used nomadic tribes and defined them separately as followers of folk religion.
See affirmative action refers to policies positively supporting members of disadvantaged or underrepresented groups. Like Indian quota and reservation system.

We saw in previous threads how British only appointed Brahmins, then creates caste bias and Dalits.

And now...
Now they lumped it all on Hindu society only that this is your evil doing and washed their hands off of it, and to justify that they furthered this Affirmative action in an effort to strengthen their loosing grip on India after WW1.

See Ambedkar was born in 1891.
He came from Mahar Jati (which in Maharashtra mostly use the Dalit word). Most other communities prefer to use their own caste name. Dalit term among the people was most used by Ambedkar only and with his "Labour party" he made it a commoners word with his limited knowledge.
British used his this naïvety to their benefits. In 1932, the British Raj recommended separate electorates to select leaders for Dalits in the Communal Award.

This was favoured by Ambedkar but when Mahatma Gandhi opposed the proposal it resulted in the Poona Pact.
British using the face and credibility of Ambedkar used the term Dalit as a translation for the British Raj census classification of Depressed Classes prior to 1935.

Did you read Classes and not Caste? Right!

Your caste is not your class but your Clan like in Japanese Society.
Ambedkar grew up in this Indian society of British rather a Hindu society. All his understanding of society came from this disaster British had created & further from the English Education full of fabrications & forgery. He didn't understand Sanskrit, he had no access to history.
What he saw, made him an advocate of that like how all leftist movements grow up.

This Affirmative actions had an impact on him and he devised reservation from that instead of correcting Indian society of what it had become in last 200 years. His methods were superficial.
And as far as Baba sahab was from the roots of our society, it's culture and history.

The said Dalit movement "Bhim Army" has strayed even further away from that and their affirmative action is the freedom to possess women of Castes which British fed as upper class in hierarchy.
That is why it is time to shun this stupidity for once and all.

Letting this continue in our society would be tragic for India.

Romans didn't fail in destroying societies where they invaded and British adopted that tactics in very evil way on India.

But votebank... 😩
