The Supreme Court's ruling basically says: "you didn't follow the proper procedure to take their rights away, try again."

Trump is getting a slap on the wrist from SCOTUS for not letting the system do the racist part, instead doing it directly and aggressively.
If the Trump administration was any good at all at administrative law, this case wouldn't have happened. The racist system would have said that these people, who have never known another home, don't belong here.

We must keep our eyes open to this - the racism is built in.
So we need to be better at seeing that, and ready to fight to root it out.

We need permanent protections for Dreamers. We need a constitutional ruling that goes beyond process and says instead, "you belong here." And we all need to be fighting for this.
We take the win today and celebrate! Celebrate every win, always! But do not become complacent to the structural racism at play.
