Google removes 106 Chrome extensions for collecting sensitive user data

- part of a larger batch of 111 extensions (5 still up)
- extensions had been downloaded nearly 33 million times

Most of them were garbage extensions for enhancing search results, converting files, secure searches, etc.
When Google bans Chrome extensions, they& #39;re disabled in your browser, but not actually removed (IR reasons and such).

Go to chrome://extensions and see if you have any extensions marked with "malware" and remove them.
