I was clearly so bothered by the negativity and started thinking more about numbers
I took a step back and thought a lot
I kept telling my friends that CY checks charts,I don't want him to be disappointed and all that
They gladly reminded me that CY isn't doing stuff for numbers+

I realised that somewhere in these comparisons and fight over ranks, we're forgetting that chanyeol is growing tall as an artist. 10 years from now, if we look back, it's not the charts and ranks that'd be visible, but just the songs/works. ++

Having good digitals and all that is nice but leaving your mark is what matters. And I say this out with pride that Chanyeol, definitely is acknowledged by artists in the industry not just as an idol but as a fellow artist.
His projects and collabs are proof enough++

Chanyeol has made it super clear that music is his passion. He wants to make music. He's working very hard, improvising himself, learning and growing to pursue his passion.

People he left a mark on will be by his side. People who understand him and his passion are by his side++

Idk if it would help, but we shouldn't let negativity floating here on SNS get to us. I've seen a lot of people only care about numbers. Not the actual content.
Don't let numbers decide the success or failure of any work.

I personally take so much pride in being his fan. He produces songs, writes lyrics, sings, raps, dances, acts, has his own studio. He's just so amazing. When people/fans stop seeing him as ONLY EXO's Chanyeol and acknowledge him, his works and his talents, it'd be amazing++

To other EXO-Ls and Yeolmaes getting deeply bothered by numbers, don't worry. Just keep doing your part. Give Chanyeol and his works lots of love and support. We'll try and do better each and everytime
