Never doubt your gut feeling.

It was November 2019, I was in Meerut due to some work. It was around 5 P.M and little dark. I took an auto for Bus Stand to catch a bus for Delhi. There was a lady in the auto who de-boarded at her stop after 5-10 mins.
Then after few minutes, three guys boarded the auto. Everything was fine till then. The auto driver stopped the auto at few metres and took out a screw driver and used it for a part of his auto which I believe was working perfectly fine.
I got little worried as he didn’t put that thing back in the box.

I took out earphones out of my ears and observed that the three guys who boarded the auto were perpetually chatting on their phones which frightened me even more. Moreover he took auto through an unusual route
I sensed that something serious was about to happen. For a moment I got so scared and all the weird negative thoughts started crossing my mind. I put my phone on silent and started pretending that I was on a call with my father & started talking.
I said “Han papa mai auto me hun aur auto ne abhi just xyz school cross kia hai, achha aap usi raste pe ho, theek hai aapko location send kar rhi hun mere peeche hi ajao, ya ruko mai hi ajati hu aapke paas, location send krdi papa, han mujhe dikh gai aapki car ajao aap”
I still remember these were the exact lines.

After that I said to autowala “Bhaiya auto rok lo side me”, he deliberately ignored what I said, then I said aggressivley “Sunai nai de raha ek baar me? Side me rok isko”
Then he stopped, I gave him money and he left.
I thanked God for saving me and took another auto and reached bus stand.
I still get scared thinking of that day. If I hadn’t done something like this, they’d have killed me, taken away money and belongings from me or any other evil act.
We should not doubt our gut feeling. If our instinct says so, there are 99% chances of that thing to happen.

Stay alert whenever you are outside, especially girls. Never panic and never let the other person know that you are scared. Keep your calm and do the right thing.
