Guys please be careful with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Most commonly used being brufen (Nurofen), grandpa and Mybulen. If not taken with food they can erode the stomach lining causing ulcers. These ulcers if not treated can lead to gastritis

Bleeding in which you might see your poopie looking black and vomiting brown vomitus that looks like coffee ground. In very extreme cases can lead to the ulcer perforating which is a medical emergency and can be fatal if not treated in time.

Symptoms include reflux, sometimes chest pain. Epigastric pain while eating or after eating, if the ulcer is lower down, eating will “improve” the pain. Reflux can cause sore throat & in some cases feeling of food being stuck

All the symptoms warrant a visit to the doctor. You doctor may suggest you go for a scope which will help them diagnose the cause of the reflux but more often than not it’s due to ulcers with a history of chronic use of NSAIDs

I have now landed up with this problem. Luckily I’ve responded to medical treatment. But I really wish when I had my period pains someone warned me about using nurofen and mybulen. I don’t even touch brufen, grandpa or mybulen even with food

If you can avoid it please do. Please please.
