I am so sorry if I made any mistakes during the thread, english is not my first language.
First of all, not exactly a point, but if you were on any of Niall& #39;s Instagram lives, you can notice how in love with music he is.
I personally think that& #39;s one of the keys for his musical geniality.

you can read a thread analyzing his album and the story it might be telling in here:

that& #39;s">https://twitter.com/niallanal... really great and you will fall even more in love with how his mind works.

I& #39;m also adding here that I& #39;m not making any assumptions about Niall& #39;s private life. That& #39;s all about the masterpiece he made and a way it& #39;s narrative can be interpreted.
Always remember artists can write about fictional scenarios and stories.
Always remember artists can write about fictional scenarios and stories.
So, in Heartbreak Weather, Niall creates a whole romantic story around th weather concept. He uses the nature in his own favor to build the scenarios and feelings of a broken heart and illusion times.
He also tells this story in more than one point of view (as you can see in that thread I mentioned before whose each song might be). But I just said factual things you probably do already know.
Although, just with these informations, you can see how organized and planned this album was created.
in literature, a lot of good writers do what niall was able to apply on music: he tricks you. he makes you believe it& #39;s a song about good days and feelings while he is telling you about an illusion that broke his heart.
That& #39;s why you have to listen to what niall is really saying, also pay attention to the instrumental, because this is the way he can make us feel that words besides saying it.
I won& #39;t get into details, but having an overview in Heartbreak Weather (song): you can easily believe it& #39;s someone who heart was broken over and over again, and this person finally found someone else that makes it different. while, in fact, this narrative is not only in the past,
but it tells you directly in the bridge that even this relationship is over. So his life keeps being a heartbreak weather.
notice: you& #39;re dancing while hear niall sing that his whole life he was heartbroken, and when he found someone else different, this person is also gone.
notice: you& #39;re dancing while hear niall sing that his whole life he was heartbroken, and when he found someone else different, this person is also gone.
this can be a way for niall represent how he (or the character he created for this fictional story) is dealing with it: dancing and partying, while ignores his own feelings and heartbroken.
another song, which analysis I think it& #39;s REALLY interesting, is Nice to Meet Ya. considering the narrative, the songs that come just before and after this (Small Talk and PALLOM) what niall said about the song and the thread I mentioned, this song would be about an idealized
situation. as niall (or the character) was having fun, meeting new people.
And how do we know it& #39;s all lies?
First, the narrative: that wouldn& #39;t make sense, once in Small Talk he is afraid because that person isn& #39;t his baby and in PALLOM he is missing his baby.
And how do we know it& #39;s all lies?
First, the narrative: that wouldn& #39;t make sense, once in Small Talk he is afraid because that person isn& #39;t his baby and in PALLOM he is missing his baby.
So, I don& #39;t think he would be this happy. Another clue, that I think it& #39;s the most important, it& #39;s this verse "I want your number tattooed on my arm in ink, I swear." Niall does not have any tattoos. It& #39;s literally what this person (or niall) want others to think, not necessarily
the truth. Also, the part "j& #39;adore la mer", that shows another trial of making someone believe he is not who he is. as far as I know, niall does not speak French, so this can be another "lie" he tells.
The lies would be having fun and meeting people, while the truth is his heart
The lies would be having fun and meeting people, while the truth is his heart
The lies would be having fun and meeting people while he is, in fact, hurt and missing someone.
So he wants to pretend he is out there running wild, he is enjoying life, as he pretends he speak French and would tattooed something silly.

Once again, I& #39;m not making any assumptions about Niall& #39;s private life. It all can be fictional!!!
I would also want to talk about dress, an album& #39;s bonus track. niall sustains the narrative, right before still, creating the perfect scene that he finds a dress, which one his ex lover left in his home.
the dress makes him think, and the song it& #39;s about this thoughts. that& #39;s why is pretty intimate. the questions about the his lover having her dress back are related to they getting back together. and a fight with his own feelings by wanting this person back, but rationally
knowing all you can do is let her go.
with a simple dress, niall is able to describe us that impotency about the end of a relationship.
you& #39;re struggling with it, you miss this person as hell, but there is nothing you can do about it.

one day, we all have to put their dresses away or leave it out. we have to save the memories in the box of the past and let this feeling go away, which is the hardest thing to do when you love someone. that& #39;s
incredible.
incredible.
so that was inside niall& #39;s (or the character) mind.
I also would like to add that in still, when they are clearly not together but he says his feeling out loud, there is this verse: "I just don& #39;t know why stars won& #39;t shine at night".
I also would like to add that in still, when they are clearly not together but he says his feeling out loud, there is this verse: "I just don& #39;t know why stars won& #39;t shine at night".
That can be related with "I see us in black and white, crystal clear, on a starlit night" from B&W, a song which niall (or the character) idealizes his future relationship with this person, but as there is no starlit night, he ends the album saying it was not the way he planned.
i can stay my hole life talking about how niall songwriting is amazing, especially when it comes to Heartbreak Weather. I haven& #39;t mentioned Everywhere, something we always feel after a break up is that this person is literally everywhere of our lives and
we are looking for it& #39;s face unconsciously.
we are surrounded by that memory, that routine, but this person is not here so it just seems unfair.
everywhere lyrics describes this feeling really well.

I haven& #39;t mentioned all the songs because it would be too long, but we also have San Francisco, Nothing, Cross your mind, and many others that niall put in words feelings I was never able to explain, and it& #39;s instrumental part also build the narrative and make us literally
feel what he wants us to feel.
so that& #39;s the end, and my suggestion is listen to the album for real.
listen what niall is saying the way his saying, the tune/beat/melody he is using.
it& #39;s a deep, honest and really, really well developed story.

that& #39;s why I think niall should win all @GRAMMY categories with Heartbreak Weather. the world NEEDS to pay attention on this man talent.
ending here. stream heartbreak weather and listen to moral of the story, by another great songwriter named @ashemusic who niall is featuring with.
