note: despite the anime only going as far as 12 episodes, it is worth mentioning that the manga has 13 volumes / 49 pages. i will be posting my favorite moments from the anime first and once that is over i will then keep on going with the plot with screenshots of the manga.

futaba, who was once considered cute and lovely, now intentionally behaves "unladylike" and "unappealing", which bothers her peers
futaba's "unladylike" behavior passes as acceptable by her friends since it is seen as repulsive to the male eye, unlike makita's cute aura, which pleasures them
futaba sees herself in makita. they have both been isolated from their female peers due to how their feminine auras attract the male peers' attention. thus, to attract the female peers' attention instead, she felt forced to change her ways (internalized misogyny is truly a virus)

oh so if she's cute enough to attract guys it's a problem, if she's not cute at all and ends up grossing guys out they also have a problem with it -sigh- just say you hate women and go!! the hypocrisy in these two stinks!!
