A women was once raped in Medina while walking to the mosque for fajr prayer. When she complained to the phrophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) he didn’t question why she was walking alone like most of our men would do today. Rather he listened to her and brought justice to the victim.

We’ve failed our sisters by encouraging this toxic culture of silencing victims and exonerating rapists/abusers in our Muslim communities. May Allah protect our sisters and bring them justice against there abusers in this dunya before the next
