A thread about what to do when you feel the need to tweet about something racist that happened to you.

Option 1: dont. This is perfectly legitimate, and you wont die if you take this option. I promise you. Nothing bad will happen if you choose not to tweet.

Option 2: If you choose to tweet, please provide the pertinent details. Often what happens is minimal details will be provided, leaving all reasonable ppl to think to themselves "that doesnt sound racist, that sounds like a bunch of assumptions"...

...some people even chose to respond to that effect which always leads to the original tweeter to say. "there were some other things that I left out, that proves it was racist"...
